If you caught our last post, you know the wild, behind-the-scenes story of how our patented Hair Cleansing Wipes came to life. We talked about that "aha!" moment on the salon floor and the convo that started it all.
But today, we want to dive a little deeper.
When Mum (Liz) and I first sat down to create GG by Golding Gals, we didn't just want to launch another beauty and lifestyle brand. We wanted to set a new standard. We wanted to prove that you never have to choose between a product that is high-performing and stylish, and one that is genuinely clean, eco-friendly, and safe for your space.
For us, the GG Clean range isn't just a collection of products, it’s a reflection of our morals, our industry knowledge and our refusal to compromise on what goes onto your skin, into your hair, and into your space.
Two Generations of Industry Secrets.
Between the two of us, we’ve spent a lot of time around the fashion, hair, and beauty industry.
Mum has spent over 30 years as a fashion stylist, shoot director, and makeup artist. She’s styled thousands of everyday people and run massive fashion shows. Meanwhile, I’ve spent 13 years living and breathing hair, managing a busy salon floor, fully booked column and working backstage with global brands like L’Oréal and GHD.
Growing up in a family of industry leaders, I had a front-row seat to the best of the beauty world. We saw firsthand the sheer volume of harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and toxic ingredients that professionals and clients were breathing in and absorbing every single day. We knew what worked, we knew what didn't, and we knew the industry desperately needed a shake-up.

Behind the scenes, Mum has spent over 10 years pioneering natural, eco-friendly products with Nature Direct and Tripure. Long before Eco friendly was a trendy buzzword on TikTok, she was learning about natural products and advocating for toxin-free living.
When we joined forces to create the GG by Golding Gals and the Clean range, we combined Mum’s 10+ years of natural product knowledge with my obsession with scalp health and modern hair science.
